The review of Little Prince

Conor Grennan
I enjoy reviewing his book since an author who I admire the most wrote it. This author, Conor Grennan, has achieved so much, including climbing to the base camp of Mount Everest and having visited some of the beautiful places around the world. His book differs from most authors, considering the manner in which he narrated his story of how he rescued some of the Nepali children from human traffickers and successfully uniting them with their families. Conor Grennan is also known for having formed an international non-profit organization as narrated in his famous book. Due to these reasons, Grennan has done a good job of inspiring those who get the chance of reading his book and especially the way he uses his sense of humor, humility and charm, while at it.
His honesty is also evident as he argues that going to work at the orphanage (Godowari) is more of an excuse to enjoy a one-year trip around the world as well as an excuse to stay away from work. While at the orphanage in Godowari, he would have a chance to go out with girls whom he would have to meet at the bars and have an opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.
Grennan arrived in Nepal in 2004, a time when things were not good. This was attributed to the fact that, Maoist rebels were not only fighting against the royal Nepalese government, but also the impoverished population lived in unsanitary conditions, lacked running water, lacked electricity and child trafficking mechanism had taken root. Conor is now a survivor and does not seem bothered by the fact that, things are not as normal as he would have wanted them to be.
Evidently, Conor is a survivor of his own as he has been able to see what is at hand and accept it as part of his life. More so, he was able to bond with the children whom he had been working with at the orphanage and better still, acted as if he were their parents. He admitted that he would feel bad when the time would come for him to leave them. Due to this reason, he promised them that he would visit again after one year.
Just as he had promised, Grennan visited the orphanage and was surprised to find that most of the children he had been with, during his last visit were donated to traffickers, stolen and adopted by some of the well-wishers. As a result of this, he decided to do everything within his power to ensure that those children would be protected from some of those calamities. In line with that, he started a non-profit organization by the name of Next Generation Nepal. Its main aim was to reconnect the children who had been trafficked with their families as well as communities. He also collaborated with an international organization, so that he would be in a better position to buy a home for these orphaned children, where they would live without fear. Additionally, he raised funds for their upkeep.
Clearly, “Little Princes” is one of the passionate, yet straightforward true stories that readers can ever come across. It is quite an entertaining story and those who may have not been impressed should look forward to Grennan falls in love too.
